fascinations, and learning from reading Faith and Practice. The
following topics will be covered:

Leadings, Testimonies)
March 17:

Yearly Meeting"
April 21: "Queries"

Benefit Pasta Dinner
FEP, The
Friends Enrichment Program of Moorestown Friends Monthly Meeting, will
host a pasta dinner for the benefit of FEP and MEND, Moorestown
Ecumenical Neighborhood Development. The dinner will be held in the
D’Olier Room of the meetinghouse, on Sunday, March 21, from 4:00
to 8:00 p.m. It will be open to the general public. For this project
to succeed, FEP will need the help and support of the Meeting and of
local churches, as well as the help and support of members of the Board
of Directors of MEND. We will need people to contribute pasta dishes to
our buffet table and to help FEP publicize the event. Half of the
proceeds will go to FEP and will help fund scholarships for Moorestown
children in financial need to attend summer camp, enroll in art classes
or sports clinics, or take music lessons. The other half will go to
MEND and will help maintain and expand the Burlington County supply of
affordable housing for a growing number of families and individuals in
need of a decent and safe place to call home. Anyone interested in
helping FEP prepare for this event should call the Meeting Office
at 856-235-1561

Meeting for Worship Resumes at the Burlington Meetinghouse
While the Burlington Monthly Meeting was laid
down in 1991 (and a new Conference Center was opened in 1995), a Worship
Group has recently been formed under the care of Trenton Monthly Meeting
and Friends are now worshipping in the Burlington Meetinghouse again
every Sunday at 10 am.
If you have friends or relatives who live in
the vicinity of Burlington who might be interested in worshipping with
us and learning more about Quakerism, please encourage them to join us.
Many Quakers and visitors from throughout the area have been moved by
this unique historical Quaker worship experience.
The Meetinghouse (built in 1783 and recently
restored) is located in the heart of the Burlington Historical District
at 340 High Street, a half block from the RiverLine light rail train
stop and just a short walk from the Delaware River. For more
information, go to
www.pym.org/burlington-qm/burlington.htm.
Visitors are warmly welcomed.
